Quinn Turns 3 Months Old!

It's hard for us to believe, but this Friday, August 22nd, Quinn will  be 3 months old.  It is safe to say that he has easily made his way into our hearts over these past 3 months!  He has developed a wonderful little personality over the past month in particular.  He laughs, coos, and talks to us regularly.  He enjoys it when we talk to him and smiles most of the time.  Nolan loves his baby brother and tells anyone that will listen "that's my baby brother!"  Quinn, like his brother, is growing like a weed.  He's already up to 14 lbs. 7 oz. and was 23 inches long at his 2 month checkup.  I'm sure he's grown a little longer since then.  We are so very happy with Quinn as a member of our little family and can't imagine life without him now!  Here are a few pictures of our sweet little man.

Big Truck Day!

As you can see from our blog here, our summer has consisted of taking care of a new baby and entertaining Nolan with trains, tractors, and trucks!  On Saturday we went to Big Truck Day in Beaverton.  I  have to say that this was a really well planned event.  There was a combination of trucks, construction equipment, and rescue vehicles that kids could crawl into and explore.  As you can imagine, there were lots of horns honking and other fun noises.  There was just enough to entertain the kids without being overwhelming.  We will definitely hit this event again next summer.

Tractors, Tractors Everywhere!

Last weekend we took Nolan and Quinn to the Anitque Powerland annual Steam Up in Brooks.  While Quinn was more interested in his bottle, Nolan got to see tons of tractors and other steam powered machinery.  This was definitely right up his alley!
